Rising Production - Rising Production Site

Rising Production was founded in November 4th 2008, when Diegao94 and Vares decided to set up a group on YouTube. They wanted to mix their names to name it, but it didn't work out, so they appointed "The Master Production". About 10 people subscribed to the group, including Buis and XxDarkLukexX. They all shared a great passion for anime and manga, but most of all for AMVs. For that reason Luke suggested to turn the group into an AMV studio.

After the changeover, only Diegao94, Vares, Buis and Luke were left. In order to make the change more effective they modified the name into "Immortal Dark Studio" and created a dedicated forum for it. It was April 2009; they were few in numbers, so they began searching for new members, including Wrote and Soul. This last one was crucial for the entry of an important member, Karusman07. The first edition of the studio contest was inaugurated in July, and that was a fair success, considering its little notoriety, with about ten videos delivered and a good response from the audience.

There was a decisive turn in November: the name of the studio once again changed and became "Rising Production", the forum was heavily modified and two new member entered the studio (Leonheart and Nihilant01) after the loss of many others. Between the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010 Kyros and Gabry joined too. Thanks to their entry, they managed to complete their first studio MEP, "Invaders", after two previous failed attempts. At that point they started to become more and more professional and demanding, so they decided to move the forum on Altervista and created a site. Unfortunately, due to their lack of knowledge of html codes and other stuff, the site creation was postponed. However, in July the second edition of the annual contest took place, which had much more success than the previous edition, and there was a DVD reward for the first place. The winner was Karusman07, while Alek achieved the second place, gaining the chance of entering the studio. After the contest they began a new MEP, whose publication was delayed because of Vares' departure, who was replaced by Riccardocasu. That's how in March "Redemption - Silence Everything" was released; their second studio MEP.

A little later, in June 2011, [key]Scarlet joined the studio; she was already known by some members of the studio for several collaborations and whatnot. In July the third edition of the annual contest took place: among the 23 partecipants, the winner was Nihilant01, who won the DVD award for that year. At the end of the contest, the official site of the studio was inaugurated, made by [key]Scarlet in collaboration with Diegao94.

2012 has been a prolific year regarding the production of MEPs and the participation of various international contests, in which our members obtained good placings and won several awards. Regarding our annual contest, the fourth edition saw its peak in the number of participants (37), including a few international editors, and for the first time we gave out a real trophy to the winner (Umika) and a certificate for the top 3 placings. Once the contest was over, in September 2012, Domius formally entered in Rising Production, after having collaborated in many past MEPs. In December of the same year, another member became part of the group: ChaosLv99.
